DeBoer receives the most extraordinary questions. Often when people really don't know what to do anymore, or when they need to think 'out of the box', this is the right place. Because we work at home and abroad, in different sectors and in many situations, deBoer is able to come up with the most diverse solutions. Or to cleverly combine different solutions. Cross-pollination at its best.

Inspiring examples

Special crane system Victory Boogie Woogie tunnel. Self-propelled crane system to assemble prefab elements. With built-in paver system: How do you come up with that?! But: all required functionalities in one!

Rail tunnel under the mill? Mill De Roos has been provided with its own new foundation and lifted. After the tunnel roof was finished, we placed the mill on it. The monument has been preserved.

Movable construction: The overhang of Museum Arnhem was safely assembled above the construction site and later 'launched'. Same result, but then achieved slightly differently.

Johan de Witt: a famous statue near the Hofvijver in The Hague. We lifted him up a bit because the surroundings were adjusted. He could easily remain on his pedestal.

Emergency measures. Unfortunately, it is becoming increasingly necessary to place emergency supports under bridges and viaducts. This is often due to the uncertain structural status, or due to damage that has already occurred. Auxiliary props, hydraulics, emergency supports and heavy beam steel are immediately available at deBoer. And the immediately available knowledge and experience is especially important in this regard.

Work platforms to make hard-to-reach places accessible; look at the Markhallen in Rotterdam. A super support and work platform. Concrete was poured on it, wide slab floors were propped up, installations were installed, ceilings were made, etc. And they can go back and forth through the building. Why all of this? Once again all the desired functionalities in one!

Controlling settlement: all foundations settle a little over time. The Ossenmarkt Parking Garage in Groningen kept rising a little! This was predicted in the design phase in 1998. In 2020, we lowered the core of the garage a little; we had already anticipated everything during construction.
