Sliding techniques
Civiele technieken deBoer has been adept at successfully applying sliding techniques for a variety of relocation issues for decades. Thanks to our advanced sliding systems, we move each object with extreme precision, step by step, to the desired location.

- Infrastructure: Sliding techniques are mainly used to greatly reduce disruption during the construction of crossing infrastructure. This technique is often used in railways and motorways in particular. This technique can also provide an excellent solution for building bridges over waterways. We call this 'launching': shifting in the longitudinal axis.
- Buildings: It is less common, but buildings are also moved. Often it concerns monumental objects that must be preserved in their current state. A mill, a medieval tower, a chimney, a complete museum building: we have seen all kinds of things. Each building requires a specific consideration: no building is the same. There are various methods conceivable and much is possible.
- In addition to bridges, tunnels and buildings, many more objects can be moved. For example, tunnel boring machines, statues, installations and even trees. Sometimes places cannot be reached with cranes and moving them with our techniques is a good solution. deBoer provides you with the right advice.
