Pijnacker, underground passageway Duikersloot

General information

As part of creating a continuous cycle path between Delft and Pijnacker, CT deBoer designed and built the underground passageway Duikersloot in Pijnacker. The tunnel goes underneath the Klapwijkseweg and the RET- railway track.
The deck of the railway part was skidded in position during a ascension weekend

Numbers/technique used

– Tunnel (dimensions: 8 x 185 meter. 3,5 meters high) underneath railway and road.

– Skidding in railway deck during ascension weekend (the railway was out of service)
