Belgium, lowering four decks highway junction Lummen

General information

For the renewal of the highway junction Lummen in Belgium, Jan de Nul was commissioned to build four bridge decks. CT deBoer supplied the formwork supports and after the concrete work was done, the decks were lowered 90 cm above the serving motorway E313. The formwork supports were lowered and loaded on a trailer in a number of night-time closures. Some time later the lowering of the bridge decks was done.
