Amsterdam, correcting a building at the Vijzelgracht

General information


The construction of the metro station Vijzelgracht (North/South metro line Amsterdam) caused four monumental houses to come down. The existing pile foundation capacity of these houses was hydraulically tested by CT deBoer, additional piles were inserted and the houses where corrected using a computer-controlled system.
